After the unfortunate end of Sensor:Norn, where I was introduced for the first time with using my vocals in a metalband. I wasn’t ready to stop yet so together with my girlfriend Greet (keyboard) we went looking for bandmembers. At no time we found Cassièl (drums), Noci (bass) and Lode (guitar, creator of Sensor:Norn). It felt complete but we kept looking for a second guitar player, never found one. No probs, before we knew it we did our first gig at the kram (Mechelen): on 21/08/'02 we were publicly born. SilentSecretS always enjoyed doing gigs.

But a demo never came and at some time everyone went their own way. The last gig was on a snowy day at moevement (lier) on 01/02/'03. We didn’t want to stop so we found ourselfs a new bassplayer (Laurent) and a drummer (Brik), but it didn’t work out with the drummer and that was the definitive end. Determined to make music I bought myself a guitar that Summer. A long struggle began with completly no experience and only the help of my girlfriend. I started the fight with my wooden precious. Finally we made some progress, started writing songs along with a drum computer, completed the lyrics and ready to start a new SSS. At that time Laurent (bass) was still visiting and jaming along with us and after two years of crazy work Lode decides to come back and give a personal touch to the playlist. Later on our old bassplayer Noci showed us his fantastic vocal abilities. So we were just in need of a drummer to complete the band. Noci asked the drummer of his other band (Aeon Ex Cathaedra) and Tom (drums) decided to go for it. He made everything as it should be: complete. A lot of work recording and mastering and finally the first democd 'Turn to Stone' was ready and the new SilentSecretS was introduced at 28/05/'05 at the Kram.
