Welcome to the Unofficial Nash
Bridges Mailing List.
I maintain this Nash Bridges list, please read this
entire document!
This list is not affiliated in any way with anyone from Nash Bridges, at CBS, etc. It is
simply a mailing list maintained by a fan for other fans.
Please read this entire introduction and then save it so that you may refer to it in the
future if you need to.
Feel free to start a topic of your choice as long as it contains something pertaining to
the show and its cast. Please send all post to:
The administrative address for the Nash Bridges List is:
Please use the administrative address for administrative messages (removal from list,
change of address, etc.,). (To change your
address, send an unsubscribe request from your old address and then a subscribe request from your new address).
In general, BE A GOOD CITIZEN! If you are being disruptive, and this causes problems for
the other subscribers, I will be
inclined to remove you from the list. It does seem kind of silly to put a statement
like this in the introductory information, but I
don't want to run into situations where I guess it isn't obvious that you aren't supposed to make life miserable for other people.
Your posting will be archived forever! Use a descriptive subject for your posts!!!
Don't use misleading subjects like "I found part of Cheech's diary" just so that
people will read your posting. Use a good subject and make it reflect the content
of your posting.
Post *only* Nash Bridges related messages to the mailing list. Please do not make
extraneous posts, articles on other shows,
repetitive posts, and other long messages.
Please sign your posts! You may also want to include your email addy with your posts in order for someone
to get in touch with you privately. This is not required but it's the polite thing to do!
If you are having problems with the list, *DO NOT* send to the postings address about your problems. Send them to the
administrative address. This includes subscribe and unsubscribe requests as well as general problems or questions!
Do not carry on arguments on the list which should be kept to private email. Differences of opinion are inevitable, but if you get
out of control then you will be warned.
Do not quote an entire message or a large piece of text just to respond with one line,
etc. Keep your quoting to a small,
relevant size. If you need to cut down a rather large post,
use <snip> to designate that you are cutting things out to make the
post smaller.
Do not forge mail to the mailing list.
Do not promote "spam" activity. This includes chain letters, etc. I consider virus
warning hoaxes to be chain letters so don't post
those either. See http://www.kumite.com/myths/
for more information on virus warning hoaxes.
Don't make postings to the list which are designed to mislead people. What does this mean? I think it should be
self-explanatory, but just in case it isn't, posting lies and false information is in my opinion an example of purposely misleading
people. Also, posting from multiple email addresses and not telling people that you are the
same person so that the result is that
people think you are a different person is misleading. I don't want to take up a bunch of space giving examples of this so I
reserve the right to apply the "no misleading postings" rule liberally.
Thanks! And enjoy the list!
