Review
by Thomas Glorieux: 'Audrey's Dance' is that low jazzy cue that many will remember with that tiny guy. Though the best feeling of this score is the mood itself, Badalamenti surrounded an intriguing feeling around the score, it feels like your actually sitting in Twin Peaks yourself, it captures your interest and it sort of commands you to experience the mystery. On the other hand, the songs, performed by Julee Cruise have that mysterious mood more then ever, Cruise's voice fits perfectly with the mood and Badalamenti's score. Altogether, this album isn't the most profound listening experience but what it has to do it does with great effect. Twin Peaks overall hasn't been my favorite show, it didn't capture my complete interest and I barely witnessed three or four episodes. The score on the other hand works nicely with the setting, has that captivating mystery and works rather well as an album. But if that means that I keep listening to this score, think again. I can only recommend this score to those who stayed intrigued with the magic of Twin Peaks. Score: *** \µµµ/
