Thomas Glorieux: There are some moments that do attract the interest when you hear them, the more playful 'The Auction' and the immense soft but intriguing 'The Accident', people will wonder where the LA Master Chorale would strike and that is here, they support the soft melodic attempt with an equal soft performance, but it nonetheless makes the point on disc and specifically in the movie, it is a really impressive scene and receives a subtle score. Toots Thielemans supports the score with soft solos but they add something extra to the score (as they did to Hard Rain for example) and Howard's main theme, heard in some tracks brings more feeling to it all. People will discover rather quickly that Intersection doesn't offer much, and in a way this is disappointing. But the score starts to work and build with each listen, it becomes a very interesting score when accompanied through the visuals and it brings mood and soft emotion on disc. I would not say I want to recommend Intersection to casual film fans because they might find it boring. Persons who enjoy to explore soft background scores with all their interest could discover the likes of a solid medium attempt. It is nothing special, it just succeeds as that stylish background attempt. \µµµ/
