Review
by Thomas Glorieux: Goldsmith throws good things into the music but they seem to last for several moments and then we get the same feeling as ever, while it all listens so good it feels nothing spectacular on its own, it feels as if nothing really lasted long to write it. Simply my thought but Goldsmith can always compose better and he has proven that more then enough. The ultimate climax at the end of 'Reunited' is solid and beautiful, like any climax should be. Forever Young has never been the score to talk about and shows that the fans enjoyed it, but couldn't find it more then interesting. It feels like listening to music but it does nothing, it doesn't add a spark of magic. Goldsmith is always a master and nothing interestingly new beats a lot of other efforts. In a way this is the best point of the score, though nothing is remarkably brilliant, Forever Young still has its parts, its moments and it brings the usual flair. In other words you can say that he delivered each required aspect, with or without the time constrains for composing it, because that remains an irrelevant burden after the soundtrack's release and listen. \µµµ/
