No Photos Yet! Sorry! Biography William Ross has lately been appearing on the big movie market in high attentive company. Yet he was on it for quite some time, we simply didn't realize it. In the '80 he was scoring along with other composers the series MacGyver and in the begin of the '90, Tiny Toon Adventures and Golden Fiddles as TV series. His first break as composer for a movie was One Good Cop, soon followed by Look Who's Talking Now. Yet it was in 1996 Tin Cup that brought him real attention but again he maintained to score non attentive movie productions. My Dog Skip again is a sign of the cute but unrewarding family creations. It seems that 2002 was the start of his career finally, with additional music for D-Tox, adaptations for Williams' Harry Potter and the Secret Chamber and his sole score for the Disney movie Tuck Everlasting. Recently, Ross scored The Young Black Stallion, Ladder 49 and The Game of Their Lives. Yet William Ross is mostly known as one of the best orchestrators of the recent decades. Over 40 movies he helped orchestrating and worked along Michael Kamen, Dennis McCarthy, David Newman but most of all Alan Silvestri, of which he practically worked on 80% of the recent projects. Ross is also an accomplished conductor.
