Photographs
of new inventions were very popular in
the beginning of the twentieth Century.
Famous photo-icons of early aviation where
made by Jacques
Henri Lartigue
(1894 - 1986) in his childhood.
These icons depict the
dawn of Mankind oldest Dream
flying like a bird in the sky.
Other new sports where motorcar
race as
seen in the competitions organized by
the A.C.F., Automobile Club de France.
Less famous but historically equally informative
are the photographs by Agence M.
Rol depicting the same spectacular
motorcar
races and aviation pioneers,
often taken at the same spot where Lartigue
was active.
