Chile - San Pedro - Part 2















One of the highlights of the tour, Salt desert of Atacama.
On the two sides of the road you can see the ground is
filled with salt cristals, which make strange formations on the ground.
On the left you can see a human-made mountain of salt, ready for export.
















Arrived in San Pedro, altitude around 2500 meter, we did
a night excursion with a french guy, former ESA employer,
who has a lot of heavy telescopes in the middle of the desert, next to his house.
San Pedro is known as the best place to watch the universe and all
his strange objects, just amazing...
First time I saw the milky-way with the naked eye, incredible.
The picture of the moon was taken with my camera, which I pointed
to the telescope´s-eye. Pay attention to the extraordinary details of the moon!
And yes, the guy believes in UFO´s, we asked it!
