TwiZters breaks the dancefloors with smashing breaks and pumping beats. Mixing and scratching their sets together on 3 decks with 2 mixers they can keep the breaks flowing and growing all night long.

TwiZters have made a steady uprise since their birth in september 2006. The 2 main members of TwiZters, Robbedob and BackBin, have been horasting parties all around with their energetic mix of breaks and electro topped of with accapella’s, loops and scratches.

 

Backbin has been twisting the decks since 1998, experimenting and discovering his own exeptional taste in crossover breaksstyles and developing an intrigingly tight mixingstyle. As BackBin, ZingKing and Godfellas he played numerous venues as Technoir, Senotoric, Spiraal, Chicago By Night, Jospop, Montini, Mixotronix (winner dj contest!)...

Robbedob has been mixing and scratching for over 7 years with several more hip hop orientated projects like 40 winks and local electro and techno dj/producers like Paul Chambers and RafdBXL.

 

Bringing their wide musical backgrounds, different mixingstyles and unique recordbags togheter, the spark made by plugging their decks togheter brought TwiZters to life right away. They decided to hit the dancefloors with their energetic mixes that pleased small and big crowds from the start. Kicking of as headliner in the second room of B2B in december 2006 they got thru their premier with a reving and cheering crowd that got them right back on the same spot in 2007. In the main while TwiZters played venues around Antwerp such as Café Capital, Kavka, Woosha, Magic Places (summer residents),  Ockxfest, Stu Bru,... They also played @ The White House Londen and La Cantina Barcelona.

 

2008 is looking like a promessing year for TwiZters. A lot of shows and events will be announced shortly, as for their music they are working on integrating live elements as beatboxing and ableton into their sets. After reaching the semi-finals of the

d-joust dj contest in London in 2007, they got involved with the contest organizers and d-joust, bringing the contest over to Antwerp and getting young talent across the channel in 2008...
