Towns

As you might have allready noticed, some towns have more buildings than others and NPCs such as Angelet and have different commission percentages. These towns are run by players. The closed towns have 5% commission on all buildings and no NPCs.

Every once in a while a new town opens up to the public. This will be announced on the global goonzu website. Instructions will be on the website but they can be confusing sometimes, so I will give a quick walk-through.

When a new town opens, 20.000 shares will be distributed among the players. These shares are needed to vote for the Town Chief of the town in question. Each player above level 20 can then go to any Stock Market to subscribe for getting 20 shares at only 5k each. You can sell them for at least 50k each, sometimes 200k each!!!

Here's how you do it; rightclick the Stock Market. Then you go to the public subscript tab (only "ic subcrip" fits the button).
In the dropdown list, the new town will appear. Select it and click "To subscribe", you must have 100k in your inventory to be able to subcribe.

Now you're all set, all you have to do is be online at the time and date the Shares will be distributed, which can be viewed on the global goonzu website, it's usually around 2am GMT (which sucks for us europeans).

Once the shares are distributed, any player with more than 3% of the total number of shares, can nominate someone to be the Town Chief. A vote will start and all people with shares will be able to vote Agree or Disagree on the candidate Town Chief, at the Town Hall.

Joining a town

To join a town, you should first view the requirements which the town usually leaves in its town description. You can view the town description in the info window,

or by keeping your mouse over the town(outside) for a few seconds.

After you've met their requirements (certain level, apply at forums, etc... ). You can apply for residency at the Town Hall. Just go to the Registration tab, and click the "Application for the resident registration" button.

Bank

Here you can deposit and withdraw money.

Market

Buying and Selling stuff, explained in Sarah's quests.

Warehouse

To rent a warehouse slot, first make sure there's an empty one in the list. Then go to the "Lease" tab.

Lease(Monthly) 15000 means you will have to 15k per day to keep this warehouse slots.
Lease Period(Year) 2 means the contract will last 2 goonzu years (12 real days).
Click on Apply, and now you can either just wait or try to contact the Head of the Warehouse, because he has to accept your lease application. You can see who this is at the Town Hall.

Once you have a warehouse slot, and your contract is about the expire, you can extend your contract! Enter your warehouse slot and go to the "Management" tab. Now click on "Extend Contract".

If there comes a time when your bank account doesn't have enough money to pay the Rent.
You will lose your warehouse slot, and will have to go to the Clara NPC to get your items back.
This will cost you a certain amount of money per item, so you might want to avoid this from happening!

Post Office

Sending stuff to other players, explained in Sarah's quests.

Stock Market

Used for Buying and Selling shares, also to place to subscribe to new towns' shares.

Hunting Grounds

In here, the Head of the Hunting Grounds can spawn mobs by using the according dolls.

Party Hall

Towns can throw parties with fireworks, and distribute gifts to all the players currently in the town.

Mine & Farm

Same principle as the warehouse, except the lease lasts for 1 goonzu years(12 real days) instead of 2 and the contract can't be extended. For more info on mining and farming please view the skill guides.

Guild House

Players can create guilds here. For more info, please view the Guilds guide.

Auras

The Town Chief gives a defensive aura to nearby players of the same town. This is displayed by a green circle of dots areound you character.
The Heads of a town give an offensive aura to nearby players of the same town. This is displayed by a red circle of dots areound you character.
The Goonzu gives Both auras to All players around him!
