Extended Curriculum Development Project.

Electronic Learning Environment. Software-application for implementing e-learning. In this dissertation we mean ThreeShips N@tschool. This ELO is used since the start of the academic 2004-2005 in the teacher training department (to replace Blackboard).

Institute for Information Technologies in Education. This institution was founded in 1997 within the UNESCO and has as goal to spread information about the possibilities of ICT within the member-states. The Position Paper (2004) of this Institute is one of the core-documents for the theoretical bases of this dissertation.

Katholieke Hogeschool Limburg. This ECD-project is integral worked out for the teacher training department of this university.  The data dor the research in part two are from lecturers and students of this institution. The KHLim is a university with six departements, 5000 students en 450 personal staff. De KHLim is associated with the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven.
