Soms voel ik mij zo verlaten en denk ik dat er niemand weet dat ik leef.
Soms voel ik mij zo eenzaam, alsof ik de enige persoon in deze wereld ben.
Maar dan besef ik dat het niet waar kan zijn, want er is altijd iemand hier bij mij.

En dat is Jezus, Jezus, Hij is mijn vriend voor altijd. Jezus, Jezus.

Soms voel ik dat iemand me in zijn armen vasthoud.
Maar ik kan het niet geloven dat ik niet meer alleen ben op deze wereld.
Maar dan besef ik dat het waar kan zijn, want er is altijd iemand die je vasthoud.

Ik vertrouw Hem, vetrouw je Hem ook?
Hij zal je nooit in de steek laten, Hij is er altijd voor u.
