An
idea terroir
With its special light,
vine-covered slopes and ancient stones, Plain-Point
immediately exudes a feeling of unspeakable harmony
that sets the stage for the discovery of a great terroir
('terroir' = soil and microclimate).
For
more than four hunderd years, Chateau Plain-Point has
stood majestically, proud and dark, on a plateau overlooking
the beautiful local countryside. The vines are planted
in a single block on sunny slopes, with perfect drainage,
surrounding the chateau.
Michel
Aroldi, from a family with a long farming tradition,
is a man who loves his work and is fully aware of the
estate's outstanding qualities. His winegrowing philosophy
is based on respect for the vineyard's intrinsic excellence.
At Plain-Point, wine is made with profound respect for
the environment. Constant, meticulous care takes place
in the vineyards and cellars to achieve a naturalbiological
balance.
