Subtitled Media Player - DVlaD

If anyone still believes there are huge and mysterious secrets involved in creating a player like DVlaD or GDivX, take a look at this simple player here and steal the HTML source...
It plays just about anything and features subtitles (SAMI format required), realized in exactly the same way as the two players mentioned above do it. DVlaD only has few additional features: it translates SRT files to SAMI and employs a simple trick to display captions in full screen too - and the large difference in size of GDivX is simply due to the graphics embedded in the exe file ;-)

Plays all kinds of media files (.avi, .mpg, .mp3, .wav...) with caption (subtitles).
Contrary to other players with caption capability, DVlaD displays captions both when playing full-screen or in a window.
Supports SAMI style (*.smi, *.sami) or SubRip type (*.srt) caption files.
The default is sami - if a caption file with the same name as the media file and extension .smi is found in the same directory, it is opened automatically along with the media file.
To open .srt files or .smi files located somewhere else, use the menu option File / Open Caption File (before or after opening the media file)
New in version 1.3.2: custom font size selection for SRT subtitles.

Fixed in build 1.3.1: no longer crashes when loading a SRT file that doesn't end on an empty line.
Opening a second .srt-type subtitle file in the same session no longer causes an "access denied" error.
