Caeda was born at Von Praelenda on the 21st of August 2003.
Her mother is Smaragd du Haras de la Vergne.
Her father is Yasco von Sabwyjamer.

Take a look at her showresults...
Caeda is Smaragd's daughter. We chose her out of 5 females. Our daughter, Karolien, also kept a female from this litter, Corrai.
Caeda is a heavily built dog. She's obtained very good results at shows.
Caeda is a very sweet, calm dog who considers all humans to be her friend. However towards other dogs, she is quite dominant. She's also the leader of our dogs.
In March 2005 we've tested Caeda's hips. The vet predicted HD/B or, worst case scenario HD/C, but it definetely wasn't a dog to exclude for breeding. You can imagine our surprise when we got the official results: HD/D.
Apparantly we weren't the only ones who got results far worse than expected. And shortly after there was quite a lot of fuss going around about the commission and the results they gave. The results abroad were much better and this way there wasn't really a fair competition. Saint-Hubert decided that the X-Rays could also be sent to Switzerland for official examination, the FCI would then exept this result.
But Caeda already had her official results, so we could ask a new examination, in Belgium they would decide afterwards which result they would accept. We went to a vet specialised in X-rays and this vet also said that this definetely wasn't a dog to exclude for breeding. The Swiss result was HD/C ED 0.
Waiting for 7 months to receive the final result in Belgium, we received the same as before HD/D. We were very disappointed and we know she would have been an excellent mother.
It's really sad that things worked out as they did. They gave us
7 months of hope that everything would be OK. Several vets told us that Caeda is definetely not a dog to exclude. And it is so frustrating to see and hear that other breeders got a FAR better result, but for us, a hobby breeder, there is nothing to do but accept the results. Caeda will never be a mother, but she is the best aunt anyone can wish for!
