We knew it at birth. We would have to make a though decision, choosing 1 pup out of 8 females! Never before we had this kind of choice and it would be difficult because they were all gorgeous puppies!

We tried to make the decision as professional as possible, but that isn't easy, because they are all so cute. To make it even more difficult, everyone had a different preference. Our grandchild, Mona, loved the Dark Green (Indira) from day 1. Boss 1 (Hilda) prefered Turkoois (Isabella) because she reminded her of mommy Kartouch and Boss 2 (Andre) maybe thought that Dark Blue was the pretiest.

On Christmas Eve we, after an elaborated judging, decided and we choose Dark Blue, the colour that, coincidence or not, resembled her name the best: INDIGO.

Indigo is, as Gember is, part of our 6th generation in our Bernese family.

Op Kerstavond hebben we, na een zeer uitgebreide keuring, de knoop doorgehakt en gekozen voor Donkerblauw, de kleur die, toeval of niet, het sterkste lijkt op haar naam: INDIGO.

Indigo behoort, net als Gember, tot de 6de generatie van onze bernerfamilie
