Mission:
to provide training in agriculture for small scale farmers in order to improve their social and economic situation, special target group are younger people wanting to return to farming.
The Namwendwa Vocational Training Centre is an initiative of the Namwendwa Dairy Farmers Association.
It offers trainings in agriculture, based on the combination of the practical experience and of the theoretical formation of the trainers.
This courses can be of great use for the everyday farmer, for those who want to expand their small scale experience and for the farmer, already doing bussiness, who is planning to grow.
Topics can cover live stock farming, growing crops, ecologic points of interest, waste treatment, economic aspects of farming, water harvesting, large scale farming, prevention and treatment of diseases, sustainability.....
