DissertationMy licentiates dissertation (thesis) bears the title "A systematic and actua
paleontological study of the ostracods in the sediments of Laing Island (Papua New Guinea)"
and is in the first place an inventory of the species found in the examined samples.
We searched for recent species in the coral fragments and sand, what meant there was a lot of microscopic
work to do. Of all the found species, or as such identified, there are now some specimens in a collection of the
Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences; |
