Zool. start vanaf oktober met een reeks huiskamerconcerten.
Met behulp van een laptop, een gitaar en wat losse onderdelen brengt hij een selectie uit zijn beste werk (klik op de player hieronder voor een voorbeeld) en enkele nieuwe nog niet verschenen tracks.

A happy new year to everyone!
It’s been rather quiet last year, but now Zool. is starting a new project, called 365/2011. Everyday he will record and post a short piece of sound. These recordings can be fieldrecordings, improvisations, loose ideas or finished tracks. At the end of the year he will have collected 365 snippets of sound which he will use to create a new album in 2012. Click HERE to listen to the sounds of 365/2011.

Zool. stands for subtle electronic music with an acoustic twist. Dubby beats, crispy percussion and melancholic melodies.
Zool. is the nickname of Gerry Vergult, who has a long history in Belgian popmusic, starting out in the early eighties with his band Aroma Di Amore, who already mixed guitars with electronic rhythms. Throughout the years Gerry developped his skills in electronic musicmaking. This resulted in two albums so far: Vadem in 2006 and Camera in 2009.
